Plugins - SpamCop Spam Reporting
Category: Obsolete
(Added to SM 1.2 Core Plugins)
Helps you use SpamCop to quickly identify spammers and to complain to the proper authorities. Enabling this plugin shows a "Report as Spam" link while viewing a message. Clicking on it will bring up a confirmation screen. Continuing will send a message to SpamCop and will optionally automatically delete the spam.
Then, SpamCop mails you back an message. You click on a link and it opens up a new browser window. You press submit on the next form and close the browser window.
This simple process has just deleted the spam, logged the spam, reported possible open relays, found the true source of the spam, identified the ISP that started the spam, and created and sent emails to the proper people that the spam touched along the way. And it just requires 7 clicks and a smidge more time.
