Plugins - QmailAdmin Login
Category: Miscellaneous

Plugin provides options that integrate qmailadmin cgi into SquirrelMail interface.

Version 1.1
by Tomas Kuliavas on Jul 27, 2005
[ qmailadmin_login-1.1-1.4.3.tar.gz tarball (8806 d/l) Help ]
Requires: SquirrelMail 1.4.3 or newer

Description:

This plugin version adds new configuration option ($qmlogin_autologin) that can be used to automate login into qmailadmin. Configuration files from previous version should work with this version. Two extra translatable strings are added to plugin. Strings are displayed only when http redirection does not work. Translation files written for 1.1 version should work with 1.0 version too.

Known issues:

  • Implementation of automatic login is not secure. Password information can be logged in proxy and webserver logs.
  • Automatic login works only in iframe.

Changes:

  • Added automatic redirection to qmailadmin. Patch by Douglas Huff
  • Clarified plugin copyrights.
  • Fix use of SM_PATH in setup.php.
  • Added gettext string extraction script.
  • Documentation updates.

  • Untarring problems: Your browser might have un-gzipped it for you automatically. Try just "tar xvf" instead of "tar xvfz". Also, the plugins archive isn't gzipped (it is a tarball of .tar.gz files)
  • Macintosh users: Just hold down your mouse button to get the menu instead of right-clicking.
  • If all else fails, seek our help
