* This page should describe what an Official Plugins is, and then list the plugins that are currently categorized as such.
* Plugins that conform to the Plugin Standards and are relatively commonly used by the SquirrelMail community at large. These Plugins benefit from being housed in CVS with the core SquirrelMail code. The translation for some of these is handled with the core SquirrelMail string file.

Certified Plugins
* This page should describe what a Certified Plugin is, and then list the plugins that are current categorized as such.
* Plugins are verified to conform to the Plugin Standards, but are not housed in CVS, can be classified as Cerfified Plugins. This "certification" simply tells our users that these plugins are know to be safe and good to use with SquirrelMail - that they conform to the way we say that a plugin should be.
Registered plugins
* This page should describe what a Registered Plugin is, and then list the plugins that are current categorized as such.
* Basically, this category is for everything else. It will generally include plugins that do not conform to the Plugin Standards, or have simply not been reviewed for conformance. These plugins are not (of course) housed in CVS.
Plugin standards
* This page should describe, in detail, the official Plugin Standards (yet to be written :).
* The Plugin Standards should basically provide a list of guidelines that a plugin must abide by in order to be certified by the SquirrelMail Plugin Team for recommended use. It will include things like:
** plugin does not use depreciated hooks
** plugin does not have any blaring security flaws
** plugin is this
** plugin is that
Of course, deciding upon these standards will have to involve some variety of collaborative effort amongst the SquirrelMail Project/Plugin Team.
