- ERROR : Could not complete request.
- Query: SORT (ARRIVAL) ISO-8859-2 ALL
- Reason Given: ISO-8859-2 character set is not supported.
Courier-imap by default includes support for iso-8859-1 and us-ascii sorting. If you enable server side sorting in squirrelmail, you might get unsupported charset errors.
Problem can be solved by recompiling courier imap with --enable-unicode option. See INSTALL file in your courier package for more information about that option.
You can also disable server side sorting, threading and use of charset option in search commands. See conf.pl -> 4. General Options -> 11. Allow server thread sort, 12. Allow server-side sorting, 13. Allow server charset search.
Numbers might be different in your squirrelmail version.
If you find such error in prepackaged version of courier-imap, please report this error to package maintainer. See [Debian Bug 159821]
P.S. "ISO-8859-9 character set is not supported" might be related to some Turkish translation problems.
